I've been having this strange abdominal pain at the base of my ribs for over a year. About three weeks ago my sternum started popping (like cracking your knuckles). I've had shortness of breath on occasion (for several years) where it almost feels like my diaphram is spasming, and the bottom of my rib cage hurts.
I've been researching online and have discovered most docs don't know about these types of things. What kind of doctor would be the best to diagnose this problem? I've seen thoratic surgeon come up alot, but I feel like starting with a surgeon isn't the best route.
